Profession of Faith & Oath of Fidelity

On September 14th, during Mass on the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, our faculty and staff made their Profession of Faith and took the Oath of Fidelity, making a public promise to teach in communion with the Magisterium and to hand on the fullness of the Catholic faith. What a beautiful witness to our students and our entire parish community!
Our Founding First Day

Our historic founding first day was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony and celebratory remarks from our Pastor, Rev. Michael Casey; Headmaster, Dr. Andrew Blaski; and Superintendent of Catholic Schools for the Archdiocese of Hartford, Valerie Mara! Following the ribbon-cutting, our founding class of students processed up the walkway and into the school to begin this beautiful adventure.
We extend our deepest gratitude to Father Casey, Dr. Blaski, Valerie Mara, all of our teachers and staff, our Board of Directors, the entire St. Francis of Assisi parish team and community, Archbishop Coyne, the Archdiocese of Hartford and the Office of Catholic Schools, and all of our community partners.
It is by the grace of God and through your continued generous support that we are here at this moment, celebrating the historic milestone of opening the first Catholic school in the Archdiocese of Hartford in 30 years. We look forward with joy to many more festive occasions this year and in the years to come!

Our deepest thanks to our friends at Drew Marine for their incredibly generous donation of furniture and laboratory equipment to help furnish our school! The items they provided are of remarkable quality and represent an extraordinary investment in our students. We’ve had all hands on deck transporting counters, storage systems, and specialized laboratory instruments - and now the final setup is underway! We are so grateful for this generous support as we prepare to welcome our students!
Building Our Library

Thank you to all the families and individuals who have generously donated books to our library! After a busy afternoon of organizing and arranging all our new books, Mr. Perper took a break to enjoy some not-so-light reading!
Exploring God’s Creation
August 2026
Earlier this month several of our students joined our Headmaster, Dr. Blaski and our Science and Humanities teacher, Mr. Perper, for an afternoon hike through God’s beautiful creation at Talcott Mountain State Park in Simsbury. Students enjoyed time on the summit outside Heublein tower and even joined in a Socratic seminar led by Mr. Perper!
